Don't Rush
Run, run, run as fast as you can. The sky is a dark blue, the night is about to fall and your alone outside. You need to make it back to your sanctuary. But you won't listen to my words, you want to be alone. The wish you seek is to walk alone. Your footsteps are music of the road. You look in all directions, but you don't find the answers. You're heart seems to be broken and lost. Have you ever tried to save your heart? There's someone in need of that. The ones who let it go and leave it in peices aren't worth it. We've all heard the advice, now it's your choice to decide if you agree. No one can tell you what to think and feel. But when you find the one whos willing to save you, how willl you hand them all the peices? Every time your heart breaks another peice is lost froever. You're young, don't rush the hard stuff.

i totally agree with that. I like the last line. it was deep.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is really thought provoking! I don't know if you wrote it for a writing exercise, story excerpt, or just for the heck of it, but I love it. Definitely write more things like this. It's clear that this helps you pour out your thoughts. Wonderful message, too, especially because a lot of high schoolers are going to be reading it. Love the imagery, too. :)
