Every day I get up
Smelling the same as the night before
But I don’t think
you were ever there to see
me fall asleep on the couch next to nobody
That’s what I get
For spending time with a nobody
God help me
Hold myself up again
Don’t even
Bother to call me
I don’t see
How you can even look in the mirror
After ,leaving, me cold like that
Lying on my face flat
Work falls into time
Time falls into the past
When summer comes
I hope to god it’ll last
Eighteen years for this
Eighteen years to show just what I mean
When I say “don’t ever” done ever
I just don’t get how ungrateful
You get, when you get, what you get
I don’t get it, and I guess I never will
