The Spawn of Roger

How could this continue?

It was a dark Tuesday afternoon on that horrible day. The rain was coming down hard and the hole in the ceiling that had seemed like a blessing in the summer was now a curse. My friends and I were sitting in the living room, trying to watch TV under a large umbrella. The TV was extremely loud, because we were trying to black out the sound of the rain. We were watching a new horror movie called the "Spawn of Roger." As the title screen opened on a rainy town, we noticed the scenery looked familiar. The first words to appear on the screen were, "The following is based on true events." The narrator began talking. "It was a dark Tuesday afternoon on that horrible day. Rain was coming down hard and the hole in the roof that seemed like a blessing in the summer was now a curse." I couldn't help but feel creeped out. I looked at my freinds and they seemed equally confused. At that moment, my front door was kicked open and the silhouette of a large man was standing in my doorway. We was dripping wet and holding a large knife. "Now let's make me a Jolly Roger," he said, running at us and stabbing my friends. I ran towards the kitchen but slipped on the wet floor. The man pinned me down and the last thing i saw was a bird's eye view of the event on my TV.
