A random modern poem...They really don't have any rules...right?
Is it possible to love a stranger?
To feel a strong bond?
With a man whom you have not spoken to?
With a man who knows not of your existence?
Is it possible to feel like you know him?
Or want to make him happy?
Can you see his love for music?
And feel a bond too strong to ignore?
Have you memorized his smiles?
He has three that you've seen
You want him to be pleased
The question is: why?
He's never seen you, even in class
Although you may love, he will not love back.
That poem is really good. As for the rules question I don't think they do have rules which makes thema bit easier to write. I wonder where you got the inspiration for the poem from.
