Black and White Lullaby

This is a poem thing that i wrote for a story that i'm working on.

White, so crystal clear with soft tears of blue
Black, to shady dark with cries of red
My boys so young
Fragile yet but brave
I know each crystal-dark will shine
White, so crystal clear with soft tears of blue
Black, to shady dark with cries of red
My boys so young
Fragile yet but brave
I know each crystal-dark will shine Little Black and white do not shed your tears
Today you will become the men you are
Blue and red it’s time to be stowed away
Black and White will shine once more.

  2. Fragile yet but brave does not really flow. I like it other than that. The imagery is interesting and I enjoy the color aspects. It makes me think of innocense being robbed away at a young age. It is very creative and a bit odd. It seems a little bit confusing, do not know really what you want to get across. Is it about death and boys growing up and being told to be strong?
